I’m so pleased that one of my most labor-intensive posts, "The first literature, the must-read: Gilgamesh" (2007-08-10) is still getting regular readers, and if I’ll see the same pattern of hits (see month summary over the fold) in the lead-up to end-of-year exams (the typical search that finds it looks for “gilgamesh short version”). If so, there’s a good chance it’s helping people rather than merely cause confirmation of existing views or annoy them.
