Decisions, decisions

For those who are having problems picking up the alt text to the image, it is…
Stephen Conroy (balded to appear more like Howard) with the words ‘We will decide what information comes into this country and the manner in which it comes’, in reference to his internet censorship plans and a parody of John Howard’s ‘We will decide who comes into this country and the manner in which they come’.

Can you get that on a t-shirt?

Go for it!
I’ve Creative Commonsed (CC BY-SA) my work on this site as you can see in the left-hand column, so go for it under those conditions.
The only caveat is that it’s not very high quality, so it’ll probably go all pixelly when enlarged. But you can always create a derived work yourself!

Lyn – if you are asking HOW… Years ago I made T-shirts with fractal (Julia Set) images by taking a printout to a photographic store. Just like producing a laminate, they were able to produce an “iron-on” version of the image.

A sticker would be a better bet then. You could start yourself an empire. Stubby coolers, coffee mugs, key rings, mouse pads, post-it notes..

Lyn: Build myself an empire? Naaaa. I’m great in the noetic world, but crap at real-world organizational stuff like paying bills on time, timesheets, etc. Therefore, for old projects (like a system I wrote for VicRoads in 1987) that need a couple of hours attention a couple of times a year, I just say “buy me lunch”.
Remember, this work is under CC BY-SA rather than CC BY-NC-SA so you are free to start an empire yourself (although then I’d REALLY insist Dave Bath/balneus.wordpress.com exist in the fine print of the good or the packaging)

p.s. if anyone DOES sell derivative works, I’d at least like notification (add a comment to this page) and one or two samples (I’ll get delivery details to you).

GIMPtastic or did you use vi?
Dave Bath said
GIMP, because it would have been to darn hard to SVG it with vi (although I could have used convert(1) to turn it into X-bitmap or C header, edit, then go back into a jpeg). JPEG source to SVG and then editing with inkscape in another possibility.
If I didn’t have GIMP (which I do even on Window$), I would have used Open Office.
