Refining your senate vote

Posted by Dave Bath on 2007-11-16

Here are some ideas for voting in the Senate below the line.  Any of you who vote above the line are probably unsophisticated or trust the party machines!

Of course, you can mix these techniques: I will be!  (The parties A, B and C are not related between "ballots".)

If this looks screwy in a feed, the tables are being stripped or munged badly, go to the original post.

Hating party C

A B C
1 4 9
2 5 8
3 6 7

Like both party A and B : Want to see balance between the two

A B C
1 2 9
3 4 8
5 6 7

Think the first candidate of party A only got there by factionalism

A B C
6 3 9
1 4 8
2 5 7

Guess the Pauline Hanson and Family First parties ;-)

A B C
1 8 9
2 6 7
3 4 5

Distrust machines inside parties

A B C
3 6 9
2 5 8
1 4 7

Whichever way you look at it, they are all politicians     ;-)

A B C
4 3 8
9 5 1
2 7 6

Get the power back to the people – Deny the major parties millions of dollars in funding they think they deserve – vote for an independent and small players who have put their hand up and had a go.
The Senate will be controlled by the major parties so deny them the cash that comes for them by following their ticket.
Vote 1 for an Independent … Ask your media for a focus on Independent people working to improve the system.
