Masks don’t help – only encourages coughing

Archbishop George Pall today criticized the use of facemasks people are wearing to stop the spread of swine flu.
"The use of masks only makes it more acceptable for people to cough. Natural human interactions require faces to be unmasked, as God intended, unlike those Moslem women who have their faces covered up so we cannot empathize.
"The best way of stopping transmission of swine flu is simply for people to stop coughing. If you need help, then try prayer."

I think you may have made a misquote – here is the correct me if I’m wrong one,
“The use of ignorance only makes it more acceptable for Catholics to have faith. Natural human interactions require intelligence to be uninhibited, as God intended, unlike those like Pall who ware dresses instead of mens clothing so that we don’t get confused.
The best way of stopping transmission of ignorance is simply for people to ignore Pall. If you need help then ignore Pall.”
Oxygen thief.
btw- I really like your Pall pun, its freakish.

BTW: I should have included the link to an earlier post that "When is a condom not a condom?" (2009-03-29) for those metaphorically challenged.
